It is this quality that he brings to jewelry stores around the country with his Jabel collection and signature David Connolly collections. Through David's love of Emeralds, his career took root and he learned the importance of ensuring the ethical treatment of miners when sourcing stones.

David knows that first-hand knowledge of your stone dealers is crucial. He also knows that building relationships is vital, which is why he stands by organizations like the Kimberly Process.

To ensure his stones originated from a reliable and trustworthy source, David spent years traveling to Bangkok, Thailand, the world’s hub for colored stones. Through the relationships he built, David is now able to reduce the company's carbon footprint, relying, relying on virtual communication and commercial shipping methods to import the finest stones for his jewelry, hence, eliminating the need for fossil-fueled international travel.

David’s commitment to Made in America quality also means less waste.

A reduced need for repairs means less traveling to jewelry stores, less propane needed for a jeweler’s torch, and less dispensable jewelry traded in for cash or gold. It also means less of a need for international shipping, which contributes to greenhouse gasses. Keeping shipping local means reduced dependence on fossil fuels, less greenhouse gas emissions, as well as reduced impact on the supply chain from international crises.

Being Made in America also helps support local economies.

Every piece of jewelry is an investment in a community — from a press operator to a hand engraver, and from a stone buyer to a customer service representative. With this commitment, David shares his love with like-minded independent jewelry stores around the country.
