This is a time to make all your childhood dreams and fantasies come true. That being said, this is also a time to make smart decisions as you learn to se a wedding budget.Yes, setting a budget is one of the first thing you need to do (aside from the inevitable Pinterest album your probaly already started). This will allow you to enjoy the planning process without worry. Second, you need to identify what is most important to you on your wedding day. Here are my top 3 recommendations for making the most of your wedding budget: select heirloom wedding rings you love, a photographer who will truly captures the moment, and a great entertainer.
Wedding RingsUnfortunately you can't wear your wedding dress to work...BUT, you can wear your wedding band. Wedding bands are symbols you wear everyday. They represent your vows, love, and the reason you are together. Everyday I look at my wedding band I and remember my husband's beaming smile as he waited for me at the end of the aisle. Now, imagine that this could be a symbol for generations to come. Always invest in an heirloom quality band. I can tell you after hearing from countless 2nd, 3rd, and now 4th generation Jabel ring owners, quality does matter. So, regardless of it you are shopping for curved wedding bands or antique wedding bands, make sure you invest in an heirloom quality wedding band for you and your spouse. Here is a great resources to help you shop smart!

Wedding PhotographersYour wedding day will be a whirlwind of preparations, excitement, celebration, and emotions. It will be over in the blink of an eye and unfortunately you will be too overwhelmed with guests and details to really take in all the wonderful moments that will be happening around you. The only way to get those moments back is with a great collection of photographs. Real photographs, not just posed portraits that tell you little more than what you physically looked like. No, I am taking about the subtle details, the candid smiles, the tears, the silly mishaps, the gathering of friends who have never met before but will part as family. This is what you want to remember. This is what you don't want to miss. This is why you need a great photographer; all three photographers featured here are exceptionally talented.
Souce: Cambria GraceWedding Entertainment
Have you ever been to a wedding with really bad entertainment...I have, it was mine! Please, do not take up your friend on his offer to DJ your wedding. Likewise, check out your DJ ahead of time. I once spent an entire wedding hiding from a bad DJ who insisted on interviewing all the guests on the P.A. system. Higher a professional with a good reputation. Why is this so much more important than food or fashion (and trust me, that's hard for me to say because I LOVE food and fashion)? No one will remember what they ate (they don't expect much) or if you spent $500 or $5,000 on your dress but they will remember if they had a good time. A bad DJ will spoil the event from beginning to end. Then entertainment is the first thing they experience at your wedding and the last thing they will see and hear as they are walking out the door. Make it count. Better yet, make the entertainment so good they don't want to leave until the band/DJ is packing up.
