Adrienne's Story:
"Hello. I inherited a ring from my great Aunt Ruth a few years ago. I just brought it to my jeweler because I wanted to know if it paid to have it sized (I don't get costume jewelry sized). Well he was just beaming when he told me it was not only genuine diamonds, a genuine emerald, and 18 karat white gold, but "It's a Jabel." I'll admit, I had no idea what he meant, but after finding your site, I understand. The ring is really in beautiful condition. I don't know that people would doubt me if I said I bought it yesterday - it has really stood the test of time!"Jabel History:Today the jewelry community refers to this as a Princess Diana style ring. However, the design far precedes the royal engagement(s) for which it is now known. Jabel's introduction of this style dates back between 1959 and 1961. Depending on the exact size of the diamonds this ring is either our DM3960 or DM4010, both rings were created during this time period. The origin of the Emerald is unknown, it may have been provided by the store where the ring was purchased or by Jabel's gemologists. Examples of jewelry, such as this are a true testament to the craftsmanship and integrity of American made die struck jewelry.Image: Adrienne's Vintage Marquis Cut Emerald and Diamond Ring
