Beth's Story:

"I went to a very reputable jeweler...He really felt that it was quite old. He loved the ring, and when he saw the Jabel Inscription, he smiled and said, "No wonder it is so beautiful!" My grandparents were married in 1927, and they were engaged for at least a year. I know that that ring was her original engagement ring. My mom, (an only child), died six months before my grandmother and the ring is still in our family. We are not sure what will be done with it. It will never leave the family and hopefully it will be enjoyed by some one. My grandparents were married for sixty one years before my grandfather passed away in 1988. My grandmother died in 1999 and her ring never left her finger. I think that it was very special to her and my grandfather always bought the best for his beloved. I believe he had to have researched where he would purchase his new bride's ring. He loved her so very dearly."Jabel's HistoryDie struck vintage rings such as this example

were assembled in pieces; shank, head and decorative elements. In this ring, they come together to form our Style #DM3300. The die struck process used in this ring makes the metal very dense and able to stand up to th test of time. Our earliest documentation of this style being purchased is 1948, however our records prior to this date are incomplete. Based on the aesthetics of the style and the date of Beth's grandparents wedding we can easily concluded that this style would date back to the 1920's.
