Jewelry Trends at the 2014 Emmy Awards were beautiful, vibrant, and meticulous. The red carpet was alive with beautiful gemstones, stackable looks, and mixed metals. Here is a recap: Red Carpet NecklacesIn a survey of 77 red carpet looks only 5 actresses wore necklaces. The large decline in necklaces is mostly due to the shift in bridal/formal designs. The new high necklines (halter, bateua, invisible, etc.) means there is simply no room for a necklace. It was also do in part to a cleaner overall aesthetic of the silhouette which did not lend itself to heavy amounts of jewelry. Also, since clutches were in this year, the bling was spared for the wrist and hands. Of the few ladies who did elect to wear a necklace our favorite was Julianna Hough, she kept it clean, simple, and elegant, just like her dress.

Red Carpet BraceletsThey were alive and gorgeous! I love the continuing direction of the stacked bracelet. It was especially nice to see it with a mixed metal look and/or paired with luscious gemstones! Here are our top bracelet looks from the red carpet:
- Katherine Heigl embraced two popular trends; stackable and mixed metal. Her yellow gold matte finish bangle bracelet, paired with her straight white gold or platinum diamond bracelets, were outright chic.
- Edie Falco combined three popular looks; stackable, gemstone, and vintage bracelets. Her old world jewelry had a touch of modern elegance and look amazing against her glamorous vibrant blue gown.

Red Carpet Earrings
Earring were exciting! We saw everything from big earring to little earrings, halo studs to dangle earrings, diamonds to gemstones and pearls. Yes, we even saw earring cuffs! The great news is that if its an earring its in! Here are the famous earring cuffs worn by Taylor Schilling, January Jones, and Michelle Dockery. Love them or hate them? You decide!

Red Carpet Rings
Rings were my personal favorite at the Emmys. The popular clutch bag acted as the perfect back drop to let them take center stage for the cameras! Like the earrings, we saw every type of ring you can imagine. Here are a few of my favorites:
- Kaley Cuoco Sweeting is always a trend setter. I love the flexibility her ring guard wedding bands give her to stack them in different arrangements for a unique look that she can mix and match. Also, her elegant floral ring are playful and innocent with a touch boho-chic.
- Debra Messings embraced the gemstone trend with a stunning cushion cut sapphire and diamond ring. Did you notice the contrast of her gray manicure? Look for this Pantone color combo in future fall 2014 red carpet and formal events.
- Anna Chlumsky perfected the mixed metal stackable rings look! She wore a series of eternity bands in yellow, white, and rose gold.
