The story of Michael and Jessica began many years ago. They attended the same high school, but Michael was four years her senior so they often only saw each other in passing. This never stopped Michael from telling Jessica “I’m going to marry you someday!” every time he saw her. They would laugh, and this continued to be a running joke between them whenever they saw each other through the years. The best part was, Michael wasn’t really joking. He graduated from the University of Hartford and found an incredible job where he travels the world. At that point, Jessica was in college at Fordham University. She will never forget the day when Michael contacted her online and suggested that they go on a date. He was confident and funny. When Michael called Jessica for the first time, he told her, “I’m going to call you every day for the rest of my life.” And that he did.

Five years went by full of so much happiness, adventure, and love. They traveled to France and Italy together and enjoyed living in Manhattan while Jessica finished law school. They brought home the perfect addition to the family, a sweet little French Bulldog who they named Cannoli. Michael and Jessica just knew that they belonged together. On March 15, 2014, Michael set up a surprise proposal with the help of both families. Jessica’s mom told her to stop by for a nice crab dinner and she never suspected a thing. When Michael and Jessica walked up to the front porch, the place where Michael picked her up on their very first date, there was a letter taped to the door. Michael wanted to make sure he told Jessica exactly how he felt about her as he got down on one knee. It was a very emotional and beautiful moment as Michael read the letter and asked Jessica to marry him. She of course said yes! When they opened the door, the room was filled with hundreds of balloons, flowers, and candles, as well as both families there to celebrate. It was a perfect proposal. Michael chose a stunning Jabel halo ring that Jessica always dreamed of.

Michael and Jessica have an April 2015 wedding planned at The Park Savoy in Florham Park, New Jersey. They look forward to spending the rest of their lives together, just as Michael predicted many years ago.
