When Stephanie and her husband visited a consignment shop and selected this simple solitaire they had no idea the amazing find they would walk out with! Congratulations to the happy couple on your new life together and your beautiful die struck Jabel solitaire!Stephanie's ring is Jabel's BL4340JSN in 18KT Yellow gold with either a white gold or platinum head containing a 1/4CT diamond. The style dates between 1975 or 1976. It is approximately 2.3MM wide at the widest points of the shank and tapers to about 1.8/1.9MM at the bottom. In Stephanie's words, "I didn't notice the Jabel hallmark until after I had purchased, butafter Googling your company I am so thrilled to own it since I have readrepeatedly that Jabel is known for high quality craftsmanship...I've read that your rings last for generations."Fun fact, this style was struck in parts with two half shanks, which require three strikes each half, and the JSN style head, which is struck from one solid block of metal and requires five to six strikes. The parts are pre-polished to assure integrity of metal, such as no cracks. Then the mounting is hand assembled, polished, hand stamped with trademark and metal. Afterwards the millgrain is applied by hand then ring is finished. To ensure quality inspections are conducted along every step of production process.
