Holiday Proposal Idea 1: A Ring and A Tree
Skip the pre-cut Christmas Tree lot, and head over to a scenic cut-your-own tree farm, like the Angevine Farm featured above! The fresh air and scenic views are sure to create a breath taking back drop for your proposal. When you find the perfect tree, bend down, as if to cut the tree and say "look, there is already a present under the tree" and present her with the box. Not only will this be a proposal for the records, but during the summer months many tree farms offer wedding packages where you can say "I do" in the very spot you said "Yes." Plus, when its time to start a family you can create more wonderful memories getting your Christmas Tree every year.
Holiday Proposal Idea 2: Picture Perfect
If you traditionally have your holiday portrait taken together, take advantage of being picture perfect with a photographer ready to document the entire event and set up the perfect proposal. At the end of the photo session, get down on one knee and propose. Be sure to give the photographer a heads up so he or she can be prepared to capture the moment. She had this to say: "Remember when we were kids and your Grandma would give you an advent calendar. Each morning you pop a door and a little chocolate would be there with the number of days left for Christmas? I was never diligent enough to only open one door per day... That last week was rough with no chocolate... But now that we are older, we can show some restraint...right? Get an Advent calendar. You can find one at any stationary store. Carefully open it from the back and slip in a note for each day that says something that you love about her. You have to make it personal, or she will think that the stationers just came up with a cute idea. Include her name, special places you went together, funny stories, how you met, etc. so she knows it was you and the thought you put into it. On Christmas morning, the last note should be one of a few things:a. Instructions for a Christmas Kiss as you stand near her with Mistletoe in hand and a ring hiding behind your back in the other.b.
